Pot Dispensary Robbed

London police are looking for suspects after a robbery at a Richmond Row marijuana dispensary.

Officers were called to the London Relief Centre around 10:30pm on Friday, August 3. When they arrived, there were no customers or staff in the store. Investigators determined the robbery had happened about 20 minutes before it was reported.

Witness reported seeing several armed people going into the business and robbing customers and staff. It's not known exactly how many suspects there were or what weapons they were armed with.

“Our initial investigation at the scene indicates that a white, four-door newer model sedan, possibly a Hyundia Elantra, was seen leaving the scene following the robbery. Our investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who may be able to provide information about this vehicle or any of the suspects involved,” said Detective Sergeant Blair Harvey.

There were no injuries reported at the scene.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to www.londoncrimestoppers.com.
