OPP Looking For Second Suspect In Incident Near Oneida

Police have identified a man suspected of using a stolen vehicle to assault an officer while fleeing from a scene.

The Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation Police Service and the Middlesex County OPP have discovered through investigation that two male suspects went to a residence on Townline Rd. on Thursday at around 12:30pm and a verbal argument occurred with a male resident of the home.

According to police, a firearm was seen during the altercation.

Police say the vehicle fled the scene and was later intercepted by an OPP cruiser. One of the suspects then allegedly used the vehicle as a weapon against the officer. The officer did not require medical attention and no collision occurred.
