Europe's Best Frozen Berries Recalled In Canada

Health Canada says a brand of frozen berries is being recalled across the country due to concerns of salmonella contamination.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) reports that Hain Celestial Canada, ULC is recalling Europe's Best Field Berry Mixes due to possible salmonella contamination.

The recall includes the brand’s 600g bags of Field Berry Mix and 2kg bags of 4-Field Berry Mix.

So far, there have been no reported illnesses associated with the recalled berries. The CFIA says the recall was triggered by a recall in another country.

The agency is currently conducting a food safety investigation and verifying that the industry is removing the recalled product from the marketplace.

Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
