Just in time for the long weekend, the city has announced its 16 spray pads will open for the season on Saturday.
The free spray pads, located in various parks throughout London, will be open daily from 9am to 9pm, and include a new one at Queens Park on Dundas St.
The cooling misters at the North London Athletic Fields and Springbank Gardens, which are being billed as “a great way for park users, runners, and cyclists to cool off while enjoying London’s amazing parks and trails,” will also be operational.

Environment Canada is calling for a slight chance of rain and daytime highs of 17 C and 23 C for Saturday and Sunday. Holiday Monday is forecast to be mainly sunny with a high of 18 C.
