WestJet To Offer Non-Stop Flight Between London And Vancouver

A major airline is looking to make travelling more connected and convenient for anyone flying out of London International Airport.

This summer, WestJet will be offering three weekly, non-stop flights between the city of London and Vancouver.  Westjet said this will open up six new destinations including Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, Fort St. John, Prince George and Kelowna via Vancouver International Airport.

"Thanks to these new services, our guests will have more options for travelling to visit friends and family this summer while having a chance to see more of Canada's history and beauty," said Brian Znotins, WestJet vice president of network planning, alliances and corporate development.

The limited-edition flights will only be offered between June 29 to September 7 during the peak summer travel season. The new service will arrive in London in the evening and depart in the morning.

As part of the announcement, WestJet said it is also providing non-stop flights from Quebec City to Calgary, which will open up another 18 new destinations for those travelling with WestJet.
