Express Struck Down By Lightning 124-121

The Windsor Express fell 124-121 to the London Lightning in NBLC action on Friday.

The Express took a two point lead over London in the first quarter, but the Lightning edged ahead to take a 61-60 advantage heading into halftime.  London extended their lead to 95-91 in the third, however, Windsor fought back in the final frame to tie things up at 121-121 with 11 seconds left in the game. The Lightning added three points in the final moments to earn the win.

Garrett Williamson scored a game-high 27 points for London, while Royce White and Ryan Anderson both put up 21 points each.

Maurice Jones and Omar Strong scored 22 points a piece for Windsor, while Logan Stutz added 17 points and nine rebounds.

The Express will take on the Niagara River Lions in Windsor on Saturday at 7pm. And then on Sunday, the Lightning will battle the Magic in Moncton at 1pm.
