Some major intersections in London have reopened after being shut down for most of Wednesday due to flooding.
Wonderland Rd. at Riverside Dr., and Riverside Dr. at Wharncliffe Rd. reopened Thursday morning, and traffic flow is expected to be back to normal along the roads used as alternatives.
Windermere Rd. between Adelaide St. to Doon Dr. is also back open.
Upper Thames River Conservation officials issued a flood warning update late Wednesday, and expect water levels to remain high for the next three days.
Thames Park, Harris Park, and Gibbons Park, as well as the city's bike and walking paths, remain mostly underwater.
Conservation officials and city police are warning people to stay away from the river.
There was a steady stream of people taking pictures of the swollen river, but police say the water is moving very quickly, and it is very slippery on the banks that have not been covered with water already.
A boating ban remains in place.
