Lightning Struck Down By Express 123-120

The London Lightning lost their third straight game in a 123-120 defeat at the hands of the Windsor Express on Thursday.

London scored a 27-23 advantage at the end of the first quarter, but the Express took a 60-54 lead heading into halftime. The Lightning continued to trail 93-79 at the end of the third frame, and while they hounded Windsor in the fourth, it wasn't enough to put London in the lead.

Braylon Rayson and Maurice Jones led the Express with 22 points each, while Chad Frazier put up 21 points and had two rebounds.

Doug Herring Jr. scored a game-high 28 points and had five rebounds for London. Garrett Williamson added another 25 points and seven rebounds.

The Express are back at home on Friday to take on the Niagara River Lions at 7pm. And then on Saturday, the Lightning are in London to battle the River Lions at 7pm.
