Third Suspect Arrested In Mark McCullagh Murder

The third suspect in the death of a London man who was shot outside his Old East home has been arrested.

Ali Fageer, 23, was arrested in Windsor on Friday, January 26. Windsor police say officers with the OPP's Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad were at a business on Ouelette Ave. when their attention was drawn to a man who matched Fageer's description. The man ran off, but officers caught up to him and placed him under arrest.

Fageer was one of three men charged in the murder of Mark McCullagh. He was fatally shot outside of his home at 504 English St. on March 9, 2015. Police said the 36-year-old man was taking out the garbage when he was confronted and robbed by three men. The men took off after McCullagh was shot.

Fageer, along with 20-year-old Kenyon Ohamu and 37-year-old Steven Atkinson, were charged in August with manslaughter and two counts of armed robbery. Fageer is also charged with two counts of pointing a firearm, using a firearm in the commission of an indictable offence, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Ohamu and Atkinson were both arrested in August.
