A St. Thomas man is facing several child pornography charges following an investigation that began earlier this month.
The St. Thomas Police Technological Crimes Unit arrested the unidentified man last Wednesday. He was charged with possession, making, and distributing child pornography and one count of voyeurism.
Police have not indicated what sparked the investigation or how many images they uncovered.
The man remained in custody for roughly a week after his arrest. He was released following a court appearance on Tuesday.
A publication ban has been issued in relation to the case.
