Ontario Provincial Police say one person is dead following a motorcycle crash.
OPP say the incident occurred around 2:15pm on Saturday. A motorcycle was traveling on Elgin Rd north of Hamilton Rd when the crash happened.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident, police say. The lone user of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene by firefighters and paramedics.
The identity of the motorcycle user has not been released and will not be until family has been notified.
The OPP's Technical Collision Investigators remain on the scene. Elgin Rd between Hamilton Rd and Catherine St was closed for several hours but reopened to traffic around 6:30pm.
