Suspects Sought After Roadside Armed Robbery

Police are looking for three men after a brazen roadside armed robbery near Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Tuesday around 9pm, an employee of a commercial retail business was driving on Southdel Dr., west of Bodkin Rd. in Middlesex Centre, when a pickup truck was intentionally driven into the vehicle.  Three men then got out of the truck and one pulled out a weapon on the employee.

The three men were able to make off with money from the day's profits, which the employee was heading to deposit for the retail business.

The employee was not injured.

Police described the first suspect as an average size male, standing at 5'10" - 5'11" tall. He was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt, a black winter vest, black pants, and a black winter toque.

The second suspect is described as a thin male, and was last seen wearing a hoodie.

The third suspect is described as a heavy set male, 5'7" tall, and was last seen wearing a hoodie.

All three men were wearing homemade masks with holes cut out for eyes during the robbery. The suspects' truck is described as a being black with a silver line or lettering on the side, and it may have been a Ford.
