Oxford Country OPP says a man was taken to the hospital after being assaulted in Tillsonburg.
Police say they responded to reports about a man being in medical distress around 2:45am Saturday in the area of Broadway and Venison Street.
Once on scene, the man was reportedly found to be injured from an assault.
While police responded, traffic on Broadway between Bear Street and Bridge Street was temporarily restricted.
All roads have since been reopened and there are no concerns for public safety.
The man was taken to the hospital and his conditions have now been upgraded to non-life threatening.
