Fire At Vacant Old North Home

London fire officials are investigating after a blaze at a vacant house in Old North.

Firefighters were called to the two-storey building at 1057 Richmond St., north of Victoria St. just before 3am on Tuesday.

Smoke was billowing out of a second floor window when fire crews arrived.

No one was injured in the blaze. According to fire officials the house was boarded up but may have been under renovation.

Damage is estimated at $70,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
