Four Home Runs Power Jays Past Rangers

The Toronto Blue Jays homered four times in a 5-3 victory over the Texas Rangers in Game 2 of the American League Division Series on Friday.

The Jays took an early lead with a two-run shot from Troy Tulowitzki in the second inning. Toronto surrendered a two-out RBI single by Ian Desmond in the fourth that cut their lead to 2-1. However, they immediately responded in the fifth with solo shots from Kevin Pillar, Ezequiel Carrera and Edwin Encarnacion.

The Rangers finished the game 2-for-18 with runners in scoring position

The Jays return home with a 2-0 lead in the series and a chance to close things out Sunday night at 7:38pm.
