Police Seek Sexual Assault Suspect

London police are looking for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted, allegedly by a man on a motorized wheelchair.

The woman was walking in the area of Adelaide St. N and Nelson St. around 7:30am on Tuesday when, police say, man in a wheelchair touched her inappropriately. The woman turned to confront the man who then allegedly tried to grab her again.

The man took off after the woman threatened to take his picture and call the police.

According to police, the man was following the woman and making comments about her appearance shortly before the assault.

The woman was not injured.

Police are looking for a man described as white, in his 30s, approximately 5’3” to 5’6” tall with a thin build, dark curly hair, full beard, and a high pitched voice. He is believed to be a smoker, was wearing a black jacket, and riding in a black and blue motorized wheelchair.
