UPDATE: Police Looking For Two Suspects In Shooting

A man is in critical condition following a shooting in downtown London.

A 911 call alerted London police of an injured man on Ridout St., near Kent St. just before 1:40am on Wednesday. Police arrived to find a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The unidentified man was rushed to hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Police say the man, along with two other people, were the intended targets for a robbery at a residence in the area.  The two other adult victims of the robbery were not hurt.

Officers are currently looking for two suspects in connection to the shooting. One  is described as a black male, 5'8" to 6'0" tall, weighing around 230 lbs, with a muscular build and a bald head. The second suspect is described as a black male 5'6" to 5'7" tall, weighing 140 lbs to 160 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

One of the men was armed with a handgun, but both should be considered armed and dangerous, police say.

Members of the Major Crime Section are continuing to investigate. They are appealing to anyone who resides in, or who was traveling through, the area at the time to call police to report observations of suspicious activity.
