Express Top Lightning 94-91

Despite a late surge from the Lightning in the fourth quarter, the Windsor Express grabbed their third win in a row, defeating London 94-91.

After a close game throughout the first half, Windsor were hot coming out of the half, with the score 65-56 in favour of the Express after three quarters. After a pair of free throws from London's Garrett Williamson tied the game up at 91, Brandon Robinson hit a three-pointer with 16 seconds left, that would eventually be the game winner.

Once again, veteran Chris Commons led the way for Windsor, scoring 22 pts and adding three blocks to boot. Robinson added 20 for the Express, going 4 for 9 from behind the three point line. London's Tyshawn Patterson led all scorers with 29 pts.

After three games in three days, the Windsor Express will have Monday off before taking on the Niagara River Lions on Tuesday at 7pm. London is off until next Sunday, when they play Orangeville.
