Lightning Releases Season Schedule

The London Lightning will kick off the fifth NBL Canada season later than usual, with the home opener on Boxing Day.

The Lightning will take on the newest addition to the league, the Niagara River Lions, at Budweiser Gardens on December 26.

Following the home opener, the Lightning will travel to the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines for the second for of the home and home series.

The final regular season game will be on Saturday, April 30 back at Budweiser Gardens against the Windsor Express.

The NBLC has increased the number of games this season. Teams will play 32 home games and 40 away games, compared to 20 and 20 this year.

The playoffs are slated for May and June.

This year, the London Lightning have named former player and Mississauga Power Coach Kyle Julius as Head Coach. 

The team is seeking its third title.
