The three people facing animal cruelty and firearm related offences will each face 92 more charges.
Chatham-Kent police constable Renee Cowell says when police went to the scene to execute search warrants they discovered more evidence.
"Investigators spent the better part of the holiday weekend working on this case," she said. "As a result we will tomorrow lay an additional 92 charges against each of the accused."
Cowell wouldn't make the charges public until they are formally sworn but says they under the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Dog Owners Liability Act.
Police laid cruelty and gun related charges against three people following last Friday's raid in Tilbury East Township.
SPCA inspector Brad Dewar believes there are others involved in dogfighting in Ontario but it is difficult to catch them.
"Because it is so underground many times through the practice is of fighting animals a location is selected a fight happens (and) they immediately leave," he says. "So by the time the information is brought forward they've already moved on."
The three accused 43-year-old John Robert, 39-year-old Kim Robert and 41-year-old Michael Gagnon all of Morris Line Tilbury East Township will be back in court tomorrow morning.
