The Toronto Maple Leafs scored an 8-7 walk-off win over the London Majors Sunday afternoon in Toronto.
The Maple Leafs trailed the Majors 7-5 during the game, but a bases-loaded single tied things up for Toronto. One more run for Toronto earned them the win.
Second baseman Cody Mombourquette led the Majors with a home run and two RBI. Outfielder Michael Ambrose had two hits, while first baseman Cleveland Brownlee, catcher Larry Gonzalez and DH Brett Sabourin all drove in a run.
London pitcher Jordan Skavinsky allowed three runs on three hits, walking one without recording an out.
The Majors are now 14-12 in the season and will host the Kitchener Panthers at Labatt Park on Wednesday. First pitch is at 7:30pm.
