A Chatham man has been arrested after allegedly threatening to blow up Parliament.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service says local officers worked with the RCMP to investigate the threat after a man made a call to the Library of Parliament stating that he wanted to blow up Parliament, as part of a "revolution" against Parliament Hill.
Police have since arrested 49-year-old David Osterbrook from Chatham without incident. He has been charged with hoax/terrorist activity, as well as uttering threats.
He remains in custody and will appear in court on Monday for bail hearing.
