Right winger Mitchell Marner led the London Knights to a 3-1 victory over the Kitchener Rangers in Game 1 of their playoff series.
On Friday, the Knights took a 2-0 lead in the first period thanks to two goals from Marner. After a scoreless second frame, the Rangers scored once in the third. However, left winger Matt Rupert was able score one final goal for the Knights.
Despite losing, Kitchener out shot London 36-35.
The Knights take on the Rangers again for Game 2 on Sunday at 4pm.
