Domi Up For Most Outstanding Player Award

London Knights left wing Max Domi is one of the finalists for the OHL’s Red Tilson Trophy, which recognizes the most outstanding player of the year.

The Ontario Hockey League announced the finalists for the league’s major awards for the 2014-15 regular season on Wednesday.

All finalists for the Red Tilson Trophy were nominated by the member teams of the OHL as their most outstanding player for the 2014-15 regular season. The Red Tilson Trophy is voted on by the sports writers and broadcasters in the OHL.

In addition to Domi being nominated, Knights centre Christian Dvorak has been nominated for the William Hanley Trophy for the most sportsmanlike player of the year.

As well, London Knight Mitchell Marner was the recipient of the Jim Mahon Memorial Trophy for being the top scoring right winger of the season.

The 2015 OHL Awards Ceremony will take place on June 9 at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. However, award recipients will be announced periodically throughout the 2015 OHL playoffs, which begins on Thursday.
