For those looking to get a jump start on summer recreational activities, the London Boat, Fishing and Outdoor Show opens at noon on Friday.

The 32nd annual event runs until Sunday at the Western Fair District Agriplex, and will feature three acres of boats, boating equipment and services, and recreational power products.

Organizer Dwayne McKillop says this year is the biggest the event has ever been.

“The boat show is about 25,000 sq ft bigger than it has ever been with the new renovations that have happened at the (Western Fair) District,” says McKillop. “If you’re into fishing and the outdoors, water skiing, pontoons, any family craft, we pretty much have it all here. It’s kind of a little taste of summer in the middle of the winter.”

Tickets for the event are $15 and $12 for seniors and youths between 13 and 17 years old. Kids under 13 get in free. Tickets can also be purchased online by clicking here.
