Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police say on Friday around 5:50pm, a Honda Civic traveling north on Hwy. 59, stuck the rear of a grain bin being towed by a farm tractor. The Honda then spun out of control and collided head-on with a southbound Dodge pickup truck.

The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The passenger of the Honda, a 5-year-old boy, and the driver of the pickup truck were both taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the tractor was not injured.

The OPP have identified the driver of the Honda as 40-year-old Scott Draper of Wellesley.

Hwy. 59 has been closed between Maplewood Sideroad and Oxford Rd. 34 while crash reconstruction investigators are at the scene.
