The Express were able to stay one step ahead of the Lightning as they trailed closely behind. In the final quarter, the Lightning fought their way back to gain a one point lead, but it was short lived with Windsor scoring one basket with just six seconds on the clock to give them the win.

The Lightning’s top scorer was Marvin Phillips with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Emmanuel Little had 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Jonathan Mills had ten points and led in rebounds with 16. DeAndre Thomas finished with a 21 points and five rebounds for the Express, and Tony Bennett had 13 points and 13 assists.

The win makes Windsor 4-1 on the season and first place in the NBL Central Division. The Lightning now stand at 5-2.
