Knights’ First Season Win

The London Knights have scored their first season win after defeating the Owen Sound Attack 4-3 in overtime.

The Knights started the game strong with a 1-0 lead after the first three minutes. However, the Attack was able to take the lead for themselves, making it 2-1 by the end of the second.

In the third London came back with a vengeance with two goals in the first eight minutes, but Owen Sound was able to score one final goal to tie the game 3-3 and force overtime. After no scoring in OT, the Knights were able to win the game in a shootout.

Brett Welychka, Brandon Crawley, and Christian Dvorak each scored one goal for the Knights.

The Knights take on the Kitchener Rangers next on October 3 at 7:30pm.
