Fatal Crash In Oneida Nation

A single vehicle crash on Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation has claimed the life of one man and injured two others.

Just before 3:30 Saturday morning, Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation Police, Middlesex County OPP and Chippewas of the Thames First Nation Police were called to Fairgrounds Road south of Oneida Road.

Police say three men were travelling along Fairgrounds Road when it left the road and rolled.

The driver and one passenger were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The second passenger, a 59-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Identification of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

The investigation continues.
