Drivers in the area now have another way to get on or off Hwy. 401 in London.
The new interchange at Wonderland Rd. opened to motorists on Wednesday. It's the first of four Hwy. 401 interchange projects in London that were unveiled in October 2012.
"This is great news and the project aligns well with Council’s vision to be a leader in commerce, culture and innovation — our region's connection to the world," says London Mayor Matt Brown. "We can now provide businesses, visitors and Londoners better, faster access to the city and to the region."
The interchanges at Veterans Memorial Parkway, Highbury Ave., and Colonel Talbot Rd. are to be rebuilt over the next few years.
