More London To Toronto Flights Coming

Starting this March, WestJet says it will offer twice daily flights from the London International Airport to Pearson International Airport in Toronto.

The flights will be aboard the company's Q400 NextGen turboprop aircraft, which seat 78 passengers.

"London has been an important part of WestJet's network for more than a decade but before today's announcement, we could only offer Londoners service to and from the west as well as a few sun destinations," says Chris Avery, WestJet Vice-President, Network Planning, Alliances and Corporate Development. "Now, the rest of WestJet's ever-expanding network is available for London travellers - all with a simple and convenient connection in Toronto."

A statement from the London International Airport says the flights will leave London early morning and again in the middle of the afternoon.

“It’s been 13 years since WestJet first came to town. We are excited WestJet has recognized the  excellent partnership it has with London International Airport and the opportunity to provide additional  services.” says Janet Carr, Director, Finance & Human Resources.
