St. Thomas police say all the suspects in a violent home invasion have now been arrested and charged.
Around 7pm on July 8, four males and two females barged into an apartment in north St. Thomas, looking for a 26-year-old who had been involved in an altercation earlier in the day.
After hearing the group enter his apartment, the man climbed out a bedroom window and fell four storeys. He broke his ankle and suffered a fractured back.
A neighbour who came to help was assaulted as the group was leaving. He suffered a broken nose and fractured orbital bone.
After the incident, St. Thomas police announced they had arrested and charged 28-year-old Nicole Clark and 34-year-old Craig Scratch and were looking for 29-year-old James Slaughter, 35-year-old Chris Doxtator, a 17-year-old girl, and an unidentifed male.
On Thursday afternoon, police issued a news release saying all of the suspects had been arrested and charged with:
- Break and enter to commit assault
- Break and enter with intent to commit and indictable offence
- Assault causing bodily harm
