Charges Laid After Pharmacy Robbery

A daylight robbery of a south end pharmacy has resulted in charges against a 39-year-old man.
Police were called Tuesday after a man wearing a motorcycle helmet went into the Ernest Pharmacy at 1408 Ernest Ave, showed staff a gun, and took off with a quanitity of prescription medication.
Officers arrested a suspect in the parking lot. They seized a replica handgun and medication.
Scott Landry of no fixed address is charged with armed robbery, wearing a disguise, carrying a concealed weapon, and using an imitation firearm during the commission of an offence.
No injuries were reported.
