Nine People May Have Been Involved In Stabbing

London police say as many as nine people may have been involved in an assault that ended with a man being stabbed.

The 29-year-old victim is in critical condition in hospital.

Police were called to 117 Riverside Dr. early Tuesday morning for a report of a serious assault. When they arrived, they found the man with multiple stab wounds.

Investigators who conducted interviews have determined that several people were involved in the initial assault.

At this point, police have suspect descriptions of just two of those people.

One suspect is described as being a male of potentially Hispanic origin, with a heavy set build, and about 5'6". He was wearing shorts.

The other is a black male with a thin goatee, about 30-35 years old, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Both men were last seen walking west from 117 Riverside Dr.

Police are still trying to determine the relationship between the suspects and the victim, but they say this was not a random attack.

Investigators are also asking anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the stabbing to report any suspicious activity they may have seen.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the London Police Service at 519-661-5670 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-222-TIPS (8477).
