Decision On Paquette Change Of Venue Reserved

An Ontario Superior Court Justice has reserved judgement following a two day change of venue hearing in the Noelle Paquette murder case.

It's expected Justice Bruce Thomas will issue a written decision within a month as to whether the high profile trial should be moved out of Sarnia.

The trial, expected to last four months or more, is scheduled to begin April 4, 2016.

20-year-old Michael MacGregor and 32-year-old Tanya Bogdanovich are charged with first degree murder in the death of the 27-year-old Paquette. The school teacher was found in a woodlot off Mandaumin Rd. January 2, 2013. She had gone missing after leaving a New Year's Eve party in downtown Sarnia.
