The pretrial for a London man accused of killing both his parents will be held at the London courthouse, following several appearances at the Sarnia courthouse.
Jeremy Gubbels, 27, faces two charges of first degree murder in connection the death of his parents, 54-year-old Mario Gabbels and 55-year-old Susan Gubbels.
He was arrested in London last July, after his father's body was found in a car in a downtown parking lot and his mother's body was found in her Warwick Township home.
Since his arrest, all of Gubbels' court proceedings have been dealt with in Sarnia by video.Today, an application was granted to move the pretrial to London, where the accused is being held at the Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre.
It is expected an application will be made to move the trial to London as well.
A date will be set for the London pretrial on March 12.
