UPDATE: Man Charged In Mac’s Robbery

Police have now charged a London man who allegedly robbed a London convenience store with a baseball bat.

The London Police Service says on Friday around 3:27am, a man entered a Mac’s convenience store at 900 Oxford St. E near Gammage St. and brandished the baseball bat. He then demanded cash and some items from the store before fleeing the scene.

The clerk was not injured during the robbery.

A few hours later around 8am, the suspect was seen driving erratically on Highbury Ave. Police attended the scene and placed the man under arrest.

Officers allegedly recovered a quantity of the stolen property and a baseball bat from the vehicle.

Hassan Ince, 21, is now charged with robbery, having his face masked/disguised and uttering threats.
