Donations For Koats For Kids Needed
Londoners are being asked to help keep kids warm this winter.
The Boys and Girls Club of London’s “Koats for Kids” campaign is nearing its end, and the club is looking for donations of new or gently used coats, snow pants, boots, hats, mitts and scarves.
Exective Assistant Emelie Rumble says they expect to need more donations than last year.
“We did distribute more than 1,300 coats last year,” says Rumble. “We believe the need will be growing over the year. If we have over 1,500 coats this year, that would be amazing.”
Rumble says they need donations of coats for all age groups, but the need for coats for boys between the ages of four and 10 tends to be the greatest.
