Poll Shows Brown In the Lead
With less than a week to go until the election, a new poll suggests Matt Brown is on his way to becoming the next mayor of London.
The poll, done by PrimeContact Group for the London Community News, shows Brown has 45% support among respondents. Paul Cheng garnered 34% support in the poll, which was done on Monday.
PrimeContact Group surveyed 1216 people using Interactive Voice Response technology. Of those, 11% said they were undecided, while 5% expressed support for Joe Swan and 5% supported another candidate.
It’s the second PrimeContact Group poll of the London mayoralty campaign. The previous poll also showed Brown in the lead with 39% support, while 27% of respondents supported Cheng.
