Police Dog Makes Cocaine Bust

Two Londoners are facing drug trafficking charges after police seized more than $65,000 in cocaine from a Miles St. home.

Investigators say the guns and drugs unit, assisted by police dog Kuno, executed a search warrant on October 16.

Kuno helped locate 476g of cocaine on his last partol shift with the force. Kuno retires after an 8-year-long career.

Police found the following items in the home:

  • 667g of cocaine worth $66,700

  • $1,100 in counterfeit Canadian currency

As a result of the raid both Mohamed Youssef, 26, and Sonja Stark, 25, face three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one charge of possession of counterfeit money.
