Caledon Man Identified as Victim of Hullett Shooting

The victim of a fatal shooting at Hullett Provincial Wildlife area near Clinton is the Vice President of a construction consortium out of Etobicoke.

70 year old Don Frigo of Caledon was killed in this weekend’s shooting and there are reports his wife was wounded.

There are reports he was participating in the Region 13 Amateur Shooting Dog Championship that was at Hullett this weekend.

Condolences to Frigo’s family and friends are being posted on various websites and internet forums.

Huron County OPP are holding a press conference at 4:00 this afternoon to provide an update. Up until now, Provincial Police have said little about the investigation.

Police descended on the area Saturday evening after a man was shot and killed.

A tactical team cordoned off and swept the area Saturday night and a heavy police presence continued through yesterday.

Police say there is no threat to public safety.

OPP say officers will be in the area for the next couple of days gathering evidence.
