Majors Finish Strong at Home

The London Majors went 13-4 at Labatt Park this season, proving “home field advantage” isn’t just a myth.

On Friday night, they continued their strong play at home beating the Hamilton Cardinals 8-3.

Pitcher Deinys Suarez was on his game allowing only one earned run on five hits with 9 K’s.

On the offensive side, first baseman Cleveland Brownlee and DH Phil Delisle each had home runs. Outfielder Byron Reichstein continued his stellar season going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base.

London had a seven run lead by the end of the fifth inning which was too much for the Cardinals to overcome.

The Majors next game is Sunday at 2pm against the Toronto Maple Leafs before ending the season against the Guelph Royals on Monday.
