Biggest London Pride Parade Ever Expected

London’s downtown is about to be painted the colours of the rainbow as the Pride London Festival enters its last weekend.

Beginning Friday, the outdoor festival will take over Victoria Park in preparation for the arrival of the 20th annual Pride Parade on Sunday.

Pride London President Andrew Rosser says he’s hoping to see more people celebrate pride, even if they aren’t from within the LGBT community.

Rosser says they have more participants registered for Sunday’s Pride London Parade than ever before.

The parade leaves the Western fair District at 12:30pm. Participants will march up to Queens Ave., across to Wellington Rd. and north to Victoria Park.

On Friday night, Pride London will host a drag show beginning at 9pm in Victoria Park, and on Saturday the annual Pride London Awards and Member Reception.

Sunday begins with an All Faiths Spiritual Service, and ends with the parade and outdoors festival in Victoria Park.
