One Sent to Hospital After Richmond and Oxford Crash
An elderly woman was sent to hospital on Tuesday afternoon after a pick-up truck collided with a car at Richmond and Oxford St.
The door of the woman’s four-door sedan was cut off its hinges so the woman could be removed from the car around 2pm. The female driver of the other pick-up truck was not injured.
The accident snarled traffic westbound on Oxford and in both directions on Richmond St. as officers and firefighters cleaned up the scene.
The woman was taken to hospital with unknown injuries after her airbag deployed.
The intersection is now clear.
