Home County Takes Over Victoria Park

Over 50,000 people are expected to head to Victoria Park this weekend for concerts, workshops and performances for children.

Home County Music and Arts Festival begins Friday night and continues until Sunday evening.

Artistic Director Darin Addison says there has been a number of changes to Home County in recent years, which means there is something for everyone.

Addison says over the next five years he is hoping to attract more visitors from out-of-town for the festival, to make London a destination for music lovers.

Headliners this year include Canadian duo Whitehorse and fiddler Ashley MacIsaac, along with acts like Trent Severn, Jenn Grant and local bands like The Allens.

There are also dozens or craft, art and food vendors set up in the park for the weekend.
