Majors Cream Cardinals

In Steeltown Sunday night the London Majors blanked The Hamilton Cardinals 11-0.
Majors’ Jon Celestino hit his second home run of the season, scoring two runs and two RBI. Leadoff hitter Byron Reichstein had two hits, a walk, scored a run and drove in another. Reichstein is among the league leaders in batting average with a .379. Derrik Strzalkowski had three hits, scored twice and had three RBI.
Majors pitcher Deinys Suarez allowed only three hits over seven innings, striking out five. Jordan Skavinsky and Braeden Ferrington worked the final two innings allowing only one hit between them.
Matt Martinow took the loss for Hamilton lasting only three innings.
London, now 18-12, next plays Thursday evening when they take on the Bandits in Burlington. Back at Labatt Park on Friday night, they’ll meet the Toronto Maple Leafs.
