Majors Lose Sunday Series to Baycats

The London Majors are still in second place with a 16-11 record after losing two to the Barrie Baycats on Sunday at Labatt Park.

Barrie took the first game 13-7.  Josh Palmer took the loss in relief as London sent out five pitchers on the day with no one lasting more than two innings.

Ryan Lapensee his his second home run of the year for the Majors and drove in three runs. Cleveland Brownlee hit his fifth of the year and drove in another three for London.

Game two was more of a pitchers duel as Barrie downed London 4-2.

The Majors play next on Thursday when they travel to Kitchener to take on the Panthers.
