Leaders in London Again

Fresh from Monday’s London visit from Premier Kathleen Wynne, during which she didn’t take questions from reporters, the other two main party leaders are due to stop in the Forest City on Tuesday.

NDP leader Andrea Horwath starts her day in Essex and at 11:15am her campaign bus is scheduled to stop at candidate Judy Bryant’s campaign officer, 333 Horton St E, where she will also be met by her other London candidates.  Horwath will make herself available for media questions. She then moves on to Brantford and Waterloo.

Speaking in Chatham-Kent on Monday, Horwath said there is no truth to the Liberal claim that she plans to back the PCs. Horwath said she will not back Tim Hudak at Queen’s Park if she is elected Premier.

Progressive Conservative leader Tim Hudak is expected at 312 Commissioners Rd W, candidate Jeff Bennett’s campaign office, at 2pm. Prior to that, Hudak has stops planned in Richmond Hill and Oakville. The 2pm visit is described as a “photo op” only.

Wynne’s itinerary today has her making stops east of Toronto in Kingston, Trenton and Pickering.
