Police Ask For Help In Abduction Probe

London police are hoping tips from the public will help them find a suspect in the abduction of two girls on the weekend.

The girls, aged 9 and 11, told police they got into a car with a man at Southdale Rd. and Adelaide St. on Saturday evening. Police say the man took them to Springbank Park, got fast food for them at Wellington St. and Commissioners Rd., and went back to the park before dropping one of the girls off.

It’s alleged he took the other girl to an unknown location and sexually assaulted her before dropping her off as well.

Police are looking for an Asian man, 5’8″tall, with a medium build. He is likely between 30 and 40 years old, and has short, dark hair that is spiked at the top. He was wearing a long-sleeved white dress shirt over a white sleeveless undershirt, and beige pants.

His vehicle is a dark, newer model four-door sedan with an antenna on the back.

Police have set up a tip line to gather any information that could lead to an arrest in this case.
