Provincial Party Leaders Return Tuesday

Two of the three provincial party leaders will visit London again on Tuesday while the other has a stop scheduled in Woodstock.

Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne will attend the official grand opening of London’s new Dr. Oetker plant at 11:40am.  The plant, near Veterans Memorial Pkwy and Hwy 401, plans to employ more than 70 people and produce 27-million frozen pizzas per year.  Wynne will then move on to Windsor.

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath has two visits planned to shore up support for the riding of London North Centre.  At 11:30am Horwath plans to be in front of London Health Sciences Centre on Windermere Rd. and at 12:30pm, at Locomotive Espresso on Pall Mall St.

PC Leader Tim Hudak is due to arrive in Woodstock for a noon-hour town hall at Veldale Farms, 714617 Middletown Line.  After that event, Hudak travels to Sebringville.

Meantime, expect the campaign to heat up this week as paid ads hit the airwaves. A ban on paid political advertising will be lifted on Wednesday, for radio, television and print.  Parties were still allowed to roll out their ads on the Internet.
